The monthly Metro Resale Snapshot provides an overview of the existing home market for 28 areas and expectations for existing home price growth over the short term.
Resale transactions slowed further in May. Sales were down from April in 17 of our 28 areas. The dips were generally slight—only five areas saw volumes decline by 5 per cent or more. Sales exceeded their year-earlier levels in 20 areas and were at least 5 per cent higher in 17 of those.
