Aurélie Lacassagne holds a PhD from Science Po Bordeaux (France). She is associate
professor in political science at Laurentian University (Sudbury, Ontario). Her research focuses
on social and international theories, cultural studies and identity politics and motherhood. She
has published numerous articles, co-edited two books and authored a book on Franco-Ontarian
culture and identity in 2017. She appears regularly on Radio-Canada TV and radio to comment
world issues.
