Dr. Crawford’s focus is on skilled and business migration. He provides Canadian immigration
advice and assistance to businesses from a wide range of industry sectors, including
telecommunications and information technology, engineering, banking and financial services,
manufacturing, retail, education, oil and gas, and professional services. He also provides policy
advice to general counsel, human resource professionals, and internal mobility teams on
standards and procedures related to recruitment, retention, and compliance obligations. Dr.
Crawford also assist high net worth investors and entrepreneurs with their families immigration
and settlement in Canada.

Dr. Crawford regularly presents on local and global migration and has written articles on related
subjects for publications, as well as submissions to various governments. Recent commitments
have included a presentation to the Global Forum for Migration and Development in Ecuador,
Signal49 Research Immigration symposium, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce
annual economic summit, a presentation to a parliamentary committee in Westminster (UK),
participation in the Global Services Coalition meetings at the World Trade Organization in
Geneva as the Canadian representative and as a presenter at the International Metropolis
Conference.

Prior to becoming the Managing Partner in Canada in August 2012, Dr. Crawford was a Partner
with Fragomen in the United Kingdom and, prior to that, a founding Partner of Fragomen’s
Australian practice. He also served as an Australian diplomat and is a Canadian-called Barrister
& Solicitor.
