Jennifer Elia is an HR and Group Benefits executive known for leading award-winning best practices in organizational health and performance. Her niche expertise is innovating top-tier health, wellness and disability strategies for Canadian employers so they can attract and keep top talent.

As VP, Future of Work with Excellence Canada, Jen is focused on guiding organizations that are ready to future-proof their workforce, through actions that optimize quality, health, and performance against the backdrop of immense social, digital, and economic change.

In addition to her Excellence Canada mandate, Jen provides strategic planning and workplace mental health services to clients under the banner JEWELL Health & Benefits Consulting.

Jennifer holds an honours degree in Health and Psychology from Queen’s University and is a graduate of the Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion program at Centennial College. A lifelong learner, she obtained a Workplace Mental Health Leadership certificate in 2020 and is pursuing her CHRL designation in 2021.

Jennifer currently serves on the Ontario Shores Foundation Board of Directors and the Centennial College Program Advisory Committee. In 2016, she was nominated for the Premier’s Award for social and economic contribution in the Health Sciences category, for her leadership in workplace health and wellness.
