Jeremy Strachan is a Senior Research Associate in Education & Skills, and Interim Senior Manager of Future Skills Research. He currently oversees a portfolio of research projects that explore training, skills, and workforce development in Canada.

Prior to Signal49 Research, Jeremy taught at Carleton and the University of Ottawa. From 2019-2021 he was a Banting Postdoctoral Fellow at Queen’s, and held previous postdoctoral appointments at the University of Montreal and Cornell. He has authored numerous articles, book, chapters, and essays in academic and trade forums. From 2021 to 2023 Jeremy managed a strategic partnership between Queen’s, the Canadian Music Centre, and the Government of Canada to initiate Indigenous-led processes of redress for the misuse of song and cultural wealth by Canadian composers.
