Dr. Natalya Brown is an Associate Professor in the School of Business and the
Department of Political Science, Philosophy and Economics at Nipissing University.
Natalya is currently the Vice Chair of Pathways to Prosperity’s Standing Committee on
Immigration to Northern, Rural and Remote Communities. Natalya’s research interests
include immigrant integration, financial literacy, sustainable tourism, management
education, and political economy. In her research on immigrant integration, Natalya
explores the experiences of newcomers to small urban centres and rural communities,
with a focus on housing and neighbourhoods.
