About

With over 20 years of professional experience in his field, Adam contributes a practical knowledge of public policy, business development, project management, team development, communications, and strategic analysis in cross-cultural settings. As a Principal Research Associate and Interim Director of Signal49’s Indigenous and Northern Communities knowledge area, he oversees research teams, manages complex projects, and provides technical expertise in a variety of research methods including interviewing, facilitated group work, survey design, data visualization (GIS), computer-assisted qualitative analysis, impact assessment, and statistical data analysis. Adam’s work blends qualitative and quantitative evidence to deliver research products that speak to professional analysts, decision-makers, and the public at large.

Some of the many national and regional organizations he has worked with as a lead research consultant include: all three territorial governments, CIRNAC/ISC, the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency, the National Indigenous Economic Development Board, the National Aboriginal Capital Corporations Association, the First Nations Market Housing Fund, the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada, the Assembly of First Nations, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, the Nunatsiavut Government, the Atlantic Policy Congress (APC) of First Nations Chiefs Secretariat, Keewaytinook Okimakanak (Ontario), Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey (Atlantic), and Conseil en Éducation des Premières Nations (Quebec).
