About

Diogo Borba holds a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Guelph, where he also serves as a Sessional Lecturer, teaching advanced topics in industrial and organizational psychology. Before joining Signal49 Research, Diogo spent 14 years with Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras), where he held a variety of leadership and human resources roles, including Human Resources Specialist, HR Generalist, and Head of Human Resources and Communications across multiple business units.

Since relocating to Canada in 2018, Diogo has worked as an HR consultant for a range of organizations. He has also contributed as a peer reviewer for academic psychology journals and served as a teaching assistant at the University of Guelph, supporting courses in statistics applied to psychology. Drawing on extensive experience in human resources, organizational development, and applied research, Diogo brings a strong evidence-based perspective to workforce and organizational challenges.
