About
Peter Young is a Research Associate on Signal49 Research’s Education & Skills team. In this role, Peter collaborates with his team to conduct evidence-based, non-partisan applied research on Canada’s education systems which informs public policy and private sector decision-makers.
Past Work Experience
Prior to Signal49 Research, Peter was an Economics student at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador where he undertook research on the social determinants of health with the Collaborative Applied Research in Economics initiative. His experience in both the public and private sectors in fields such as education, healthcare, and administration give him insight into identifying and addressing the wicked problems faced by Canadian institutions in these areas.
