Hiring Activity Moderates Amid Broader Labour Market Weakness

In August, the Canadian Hiring Index (CHI) edged up despite a slight month-over-month decline in seasonally adjusted job postings. The increase may be more reflective of a rise in the two-month average for postings.

How much did the seasonally adjusted job postings drop compared with last month?
