- Interest Rates—Real estate agents and brokers are benefiting from low mortgage rates that are supporting a hot housing market, particularly in Toronto and Vancouver.
- Vacancy Rates—Office vacancy rates continue to rise, reaching 13 per cent nationally in 2016. Although some markets remain healthy, high vacancy rates are impacting lease rates.
