As the economy moves beyond pandemic recovery, elevated rates of GDP growth in 2021 and 2022 will fall away as the province of Quebec returns to a stable growth path. Between 2023 and 2040, compared with Canada overall, average growth in Quebec will be slightly weaker, at 1.4 per cent annually.
