After dropping 7.7 points in August, the Index of Consumer Confidence fell 3.5 points in September to 110.0 (2014 = 100), its first consecutive decline since March 2020.

The monthly Index of Consumer Confidence is constructed from responses to four attitudinal questions posed to a random sample of Canadian households.
