- Only four CMAs are now in the Down-Down category, three less than last month.
- The CMAs with the biggest year-over-year decrease in housing starts in September were Saint John, Kingston, Abbotsford, St. Catharines–Niagara, and Thunder Bay.
- Trois-Rivières had the biggest year-over-year increase in housing starts last month.
