- Four CMAs have both positive short- and long-term expectations, the same number as last month.
- All of the Quebec CMAs have postive short-term expectations but negative long-term expectations.
- The CMAs with the biggest year-over-year declines in housing starts in September were Abbotsford–Mission, Thunder Bay, Oshawa, Moncton, and Victoria.
- Sherbrooke had the biggest year-over-year increase in housing starts last month.
