Canada’s labour market has seen healthy growth this year. Over 140,000 jobs were created through the first four months of 2011, with 19 of 27 census metropolitan areas (CMAs) posting job gains between December and April. But according to Signal49 Research’s Help-Wanted Index, job creation at the local level is set to take a bit of a breather.
