- After expanding by 2.0 per cent in 2018, real GDP in B.C. is expected to rise by 2.6 per cent in 2019 and 3.0 per cent in 2020.
- With a weak housing market tempering B.C.’s economy, projects such as LNG Canada’s liquefied natural gas terminal and the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion will provide a welcome boost.
- B.C.’s labour markets will remain in good shape due, in part, to strong employment gains in the province’s service sector.
