- Some 43,000 new jobs were created in the Canadian economy in November, surpassing analysts’ expectations by more than fivefold.
- The Canadian economy advanced by a healthy 0.7 per cent in the third quarter of 2007, after a 0.9 per cent increase in real gross domestic product (GDP) in the second quarter.
