About
Ahmer Gulzar is Director of Information Technology at Signal49 Research. He oversees the deployment and support of organization-wide and client-facing technology initiatives, helping teams use artificial intelligence tools, applications, systems, infrastructure, and processes more effectively. His work supports Signal49 Research’s strategic goals by improving efficiency, optimization, and strengthening information security. Ahmer also leads efforts to improve information technology practices, support staff, and develop innovative solutions.
Before joining Signal49 Research, he was the Director of Information Systems and Web Services at the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction, where he served on the senior leadership team and aligned technology strategy with organizational goals. Ahmer has also held management roles in the insurance and telecommunications industries. His areas of expertise include technology strategy, infrastructure, enterprise and business architecture, digital services, cybersecurity, people leadership, human resources, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
