Alice Craft is a Senior Research Associate in the Immigration Knowledge Area at Signal49 Research. In her role, Alice conducts rigorous qualitative and quantitative research to help Canadian immigration policymakers and newcomer serving organizations address their most pressing challenges. She also manages the National Immigration Centre (NIC) and the Centre for Business Insights on Immigration (CBII), where she leverages her strengths in facilitation and convening to shape impactful dialogue and drive evidence informed change.
With seven years of research experience across the UK, the Netherlands, and Canada, Alice brings a global perspective and a deep curiosity about how systems can evolve to better serve people. Her work is grounded in a commitment to connection—whether drawing insights across datasets and ideas or building bridges across communities. A former service provider supporting refugee youth and an immigrant to Canada herself, she is motivated by a personal and professional dedication to fostering more equitable and effective immigration and settlement systems.
