About
Dr. Carlos Ladeira joined Signal49 as a Senior Economist on the Economic Research team in early 2026. Carlos contributes to a range of custom economic research projects that include economic impact assessments, forecasting, and data analysis.
Prior to joining Signa49 Research, Carlos worked as a global senior economist with Alberta’s Treasury Board and Finance, where he applied a wide range of tools, experience and judgement to analyze and forecast developments in major economies outside of Canada. He has also worked as a researcher with the International Monetary Fund and in the banking industry as an economist and financial analyst.
