Elise Nelson is a Senior Manager on the Economic Research team at Signal49 Research, specializing in quantitative and qualitative research, labour market analysis, and project leadership. She has led a diverse portfolio of economic research projects, including analyses of sector competitiveness for the City of Toronto, the economic impact of pensions in Ontario, labour market challenges in agriculture, workforce dynamics in the critical minerals supply chain, and the social and economic benefits of closing infrastructure gaps in Canada’s First Nations communities.

Elise brings extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis including forecasting, survey design, interviews, focus groups, and literature reviews.
