About
Jacob Gervais-Chouinard is a Senior Manager with Signal49 Research, responsible for the efficient delivery of high-quality economic research for Signal49’s clients. With over five years of economic consulting experience, Jacob has worked on a multitude of projects spanning various clients, topics, industries, and methodologies. Notably, Jacob has experience performing economic impact analysis, infrastructure cost-benefit analysis, public policy analysis, industrial development strategy, labour market analysis, statistical modelling, and various other custom work. Jacob has served clients both on the private and public side, including large multi-national companies, as well as federal, provincial and municipal governments.
Prior to starting his career in economic consulting and research with PwC Canada’s Economics & Policy practice, Jacob worked for the Department of Finance of Canada as an Economist, shortly after completing his master’s degree in economics at McGill University.
