Lindsay Coffin is a seasoned research professional specializing in human capital and workplace inclusion. At Signal49 Research, she leads qualitative and quantitative research initiatives that support the development of high‑impact publications, including op‑eds and issue briefings. Her work is grounded in both scientific and policy research and reflects extensive experience collaborating with diverse audiences.

Prior to her current role, Lindsay held positions across government, academia, and industry. As Manager of Human Resources and Labour Market Research at the Mining Industry Human Resources Council, she contributed to national policy development and research on labour market trends and inclusion initiatives in Canada’s mining sector. Her earlier roles include Physical Scientist at the Geological Survey of Canada, Exploration Geologist at Vale Exploration Canada and Geoconsult in Australia, and Geochemist at Golder Associates. She also held academic roles at the University of Ottawa and supported educational outreach through PDAC Mining Matters.
