About
Stan Hetalo is the Senior Economist in the Economic Research group for Signal49 Research. In this role, Stan conducts complex economic modelling and statistical inference to produce personalized analyses for Signal49 Research’s partners. His main areas of expertise include labour market analysis, environmental economics research, and causal inference.
Past Work Experience
Prior to joining Signal49 Research, Stan worked as a Health Economist on the overdose crisis response, shortly after completing his Ph.D. in economics at Simon Fraser University. This combined experience developed his technical skills in utilizing large data and producing evidence-based research.
