Yogi Joseph is a Research Associate in the Sustainability Knowledge Area at Signal49 Research, where he contributes to research initiatives focused on climate resilience, disaster recovery, and sustainability. His work supports the development of evidence-based insights that inform policy, planning, and community resilience strategies. Drawing on an interdisciplinary background in urban planning, public policy, sustainability, and the social sciences, Yogi brings a comprehensive perspective to addressing complex urban and environmental challenges.
Prior to joining Signal49 Research, Yogi was a doctoral researcher at Concordia University, where his work focused on sustainable mobility and infrastructure equity. He has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and technical reports on topics including cycling policy, low-carbon transitions, sustainable mobility, and infrastructure equity. In addition to his research experience, Yogi has taught at the post-secondary level and contributed to the design of learning modules.
