How to Build a Neuroinclusive Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

Français

Why are entrepreneurial pathways for neurodivergent Canadians still underdeveloped, despite their potential to expand economic participation, foster innovation, and drive economic growth?

Neurodivergent Canadians bring diverse strengths that can contribute to innovation, business creation, and economic growth. Yet many education, employment, and support systems don’t recognize self-employment and entrepreneurship as viable employment pathways for neurodivergent persons. While targeted entrepreneurial programs, accelerators, and funding initiatives have been developed to support many equity-deserving groups, neurodivergent entrepreneurs are often left out by these efforts. This webinar draws on national research with neurodivergent entrepreneurs and stakeholders to explore the opportunities, barriers, and practical actions needed to build a more neuroinclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.
