This research uses data from the Occupational and Skills Information System (OaSIS), United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and Statistics Canada to determine the impacts of automation technologies on specific occupation categories and industries.
Adopting automation technologies will change how industries operate, including the types of jobs and skills needed. What occupations are most exposed to automation? Which industries are most likely to benefit from automation, and which are most likely to be disrupted? What forms of automation will have the most impact?
