- Order Backlog—The industry order book has recovered from the 2008 crisis, with the order backlog reaching a record high at more than 30 months of production.
- Fractional Ownership—The market for fractional ownership of business jets peaked in 2008 as fleets were consolidated during the financial crisis. Bombardier believes that fractional ownership will still represent 10 per cent of business aircraft demand, but it will be driven by growth in underserved markets.
- Business Jets— The market for corporate jets continues to move sideways as low resale values and high used-jet inventories compete with the sale of new aircraft.
