Softer Demand Dims the Industrial Outlook in 2026
Softer domestic and global demand will continue to weigh on growth prospects for many of Canada’s industries in 2026. Overall total industry GDP is forecast to expand by 1.3 per cent in 2026, the same pace as in 2025.
