David Ristovski is an economist at Signal49 Research and has been a member of the economic forecasting team since 2022. In this role, he contributes to national, provincial, and metropolitan economic outlooks, with primary responsibility for national business investment analysis, Saskatchewan’s provincial forecast, and metropolitan forecasts for Saskatoon, London, and Windsor.
David has developed advanced analytical tools, including a GDP nowcasting model that provides near-term estimates of economic growth. He has also contributed to recurring economic indicators such as the Index of Consumer Spending and Consumer Confidence. In addition to his research work, he regularly engages with local media outlets across southwestern Ontario, helping to communicate economic insights to broader audiences.
