In February, 2009, business leaders, young people, and health and safety champions gathered in Calgary for the National Leaders Forum on Health and Safety. The Forum was a joint project organized by Signal49 Research and the MySafeWork intiative. The discussions that followed looked at ways of encouraging young people to embrace health and safety in the workplace. The participants also focused on how Canada’s business leaders can help young people to become the health and safety champions of tomorrow. The result was a better understanding of the issues by everyone concerned.
