Associate Director of the Intercultural Skills Lab, University of Toronto

Sabina is an educator and interculturalist, with a special interest in creating customized
programs and services to help individuals and organizations succeed, in the realm where
cultures collide. In her role as Associate Director of the Intercultural Skills Lab at the Rotman
School of Management, University of Toronto, Sabina brings a strategic, innovative and
intercultural orientation to create training and services that are transformative. She likes making
ideas connect and is driven to make positive changes by creating a trust-based, empathetic and
hopeful learning environment. Winner of the “We Are Rotman” Award for Diversity and Inclusion
in 2017, Sabina was recognized for the vision, leadership and passion she brings to create
equity and inclusion for all. Her current passion is in exploring ways by which she can leverage
technology and Artificial Intelligence to define, shape and transform educational experiences in
the coming years. Her dream is to nurture a world, where we are comfortable with being
uncomfortable about different ways of thinking; where we stop and think before we assign
labels to people who are different from ourselves; where inclusion and belonging are not buzz-words but a way of being.
