About
Alishba Rasheed is an Economist with the Economic Research team at Signal49 Research. Since joining Signal49, Alishba has contributed to a range of economic impact studies, including projects for the Assembly of First Nations, Indigenous Tourism Manitoba, the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada, the Ocean Supercluster, Alberta’s Small Modular Reactor initiative, and the Canadian Beverage Association. She has also worked on various projects involving Signal49’s economic models and led qualitative research for Canada’s furniture sector and the transportation industry.
Before joining Signal49, Alishba worked as a Junior Project Officer at the Trade Facilitation Office Canada in Ottawa, supporting trade development for emerging markets. She also served as a Lecturer at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Pakistan, teaching undergraduate courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and mathematical economics.
