Jahm Mae Guinto joined Signal49 Research in 2024 as an Economist in the Economic Research team. Since then, she has delivered a range of custom economic research projects, including economic impact assessments, labour market information modeling, and forecasting, and has presented findings to both internal and external stakeholders. She has also contributed to several Signal49 publications, providing evidence-based insights to inform policy and program decisions.
Prior to joining Signal49, Jahm built extensive experience working with multilateral development banks and organizations, specializing in global macroeconomic, trade, and development research. A seasoned quantitative economist, she has expertise in economic impact analysis, input-output modeling, global value chain research, national accounts statistics, digital economy measurement, and tax policy analysis. She has co-authored high-impact policy briefs, technical reports, and strategic publications for governments, multilateral institutions, and private sector stakeholders. In addition to her research portfolio, she has led capacity-building initiatives and served as a resource speaker at international conferences, supporting the advancement of economic statistics, analytical frameworks, and data-driven policymaking across multiple countries.
