Dr. Jane Hutchison is a Senior Manager leading research on education, lifelong learning, and inclusive pathways to employment. She oversees projects from design through delivery, shaping research strategy and guiding teams to produce rigorous, actionable outputs that support decision-making across government, industry, and the education sector. Prior to joining Signal49 Research, Dr. Hutchison was a graduate student researcher and teaching fellow at Georgetown University, where she focused on translating research on how children learn into accessible, policy-relevant insights for teaching and learning.

With interdisciplinary training in psychology and public policy, Dr. Hutchison brings a systems-level perspective that connects education, skills acquisition, and workforce development. She has published extensively in both academic and applied research contexts and regularly shares findings with diverse audiences through conferences, presentations, and other engagement channels. Her work is driven by a commitment to advancing more effective, equitable, and future-ready education and skills systems that expand opportunity and improve outcomes across society.
