About
Dr. Leah Ringwald brings more than 20 years of research experience, with expertise in human behaviour, leadership collaboration, and workplace mental health. Her academic training began with an undergraduate degree in psychology, shaped by her interest in the human side of work. She went on to complete a master’s degree and PhD focused on human resources, with an emphasis on leadership collaboration and mental health.
Prior to her role at Signal49 Research, Leah deepened her expertise in employee experience research at Shopify. There, she worked with her team to study the full employee lifecycle and generate insights that informed organizational strategy and workplace practices. Earlier, Leah worked at Goss Gilroy Inc., where she moved from Consultant into management, led a team of 12, and contributed to business development. She began her applied research work at Gap Santé Research Lab, building strong qualitative and quantitative skills while supporting clients on equity, inclusion, and workplace wellness initiatives.
