Webinar

Artificial intelligence is transforming how post-secondary institutions teach, learn, conduct research, and prepare students for a changing world of work. In response, colleges, polytechnics, and universities across Canada are experimenting with new approaches to AI literacy, curriculum renewal, workforce preparation, institutional governance, and student engagement.

This webinar will share key findings from Signal49 Research’s AI in Higher Education project, including surveys of post-secondary students and educators as well as interviews and focus groups with institutional leaders and AI experts. Together, these findings provide a snapshot of how AI is shaping teaching and learning, influencing workforce readiness, and creating new opportunities and challenges across Canadian post-secondary education.

Participants will also hear directly from institutional leaders who will showcase practical examples of how institutions are advancing AI-supported teaching and learning, renewing programs and curriculum, preparing graduates for AI-enabled workplaces, building institutional capacity, and supporting responsible AI adoption.

The webinar is an opportunity for educators, institutional leaders, researchers, and practitioners to explore what’s working, what challenges remain, and which priorities should guide the next phase of AI adoption in Canada’s post-secondary sector.
