Job Postings Continue to Improve in April
Canadian hiring momentum improved in April, with the hiring index up 8.9 points, its first significant monthly rebound since August 2024. Seasonally adjusted job postings rose 13.0 per cent month-over-month in April, marking the first meaningful gain of the year. On a year-over-year basis, postings increased 3.9 per cent, following a 7.3 per cent contraction in March.
