Compensation Planning Outlook is an annual survey conducted by Signal49 Research on compensation and human resources practices in Canada. In June2014, a questionnaire was sent to 1,878 predominantly large and medium-sized Canadian organizations operating in a variety of regions and sectors. A total of 382 respondents across Canada participated in the survey, including 172 from Ontario. According to the survey, the average pay increase for non-unionized employees in Ontario is forecast to be 2.5 per cent in 2015—0.5 percentage points more than the expected rate of inflation.
