Document Highlights

After falling heavily in the second quarter of this year, the Index of Business Confidence recovered most of the lost ground, gaining 17.3 points to reach 127.2 in the third quarter. The improvement reflects a greater degree of optimism in respondents’ view of their firms’ finances and their current outlook for investment. The survey was conducted throughout the month of September.
