- For Toronto, short- and long-term expectations are both negative.
- The CMAs with the biggest year-over-year declines in housing starts in April were Thunder Bay, Abbotsford–Mission, Saint John, Regina, and Halifax.
- Hamilton had the biggest year-over-year increase in housing starts last month.
