- Six CMAS are now in the Down-Down category, one fewer than last month.
- The CMAs with the biggest year-over-year decrease in housing starts in August were Trois-Rivières, Québec City, Kingston, Edmonton, and Windsor.
- Greater Sudbury had the biggest year-over-year increase in housing starts last month.
