Despite heightened economic uncertainty abroad, local labour markets in Canada appear resilient, according to Signal49 Research’s Help-Wanted Index. Nearly 200,000 jobs have been created so far this year in Canada, with 22 of 27 census metropolitan areas (CMAs) posting job gains between December and July.
