- Three CMAs saw their short-term expectations go from positive to negative in July: Halifax, Sudbury, and Hamilton.
- Still, most CMAs’ overall expectations remain largely positive.
- The CMAs with the largest year-over-year increase in housing starts this month were Saguenay, Toronto, Trois-Rivières, Abbotsford, and St. John’s.
- Saint John had the biggest year-over-year decline, but expectations over the long term are now positive.
