- Short-term expectations are positive for only 11 of our 27 CMAs, and only 4 can boast positive expectations over both the short and the long term.
- Of the eight CMAs with negative short- and long-term expectations, only one (Saskatoon) is located west of Ontario.
- The CMAs with the largest monthly declines in housing starts in November were Québec City, Regina, Toronto, Ottawa–Gatineau, and Trois-Rivières.
- Of our 27 markets, 17 posted year-over-year increases in housing starts in November, with Greater Sudbury posting the greatest improvement.
