- The country’s two largest CMAs—Toronto and Montréal—saw their short-term expectations go from positive to negative in October.
- The CMAs with the largest declines in housing starts in October were Halifax, Greater Sudbury, St. Catharines–Niagara, Trois-Rivières, and Québec City.
- Nationally, long-term expectations are positive in a majority of markets.
