Forecasters surveyed by Signal49 Research in April have not changed their views regarding Canada’s economic prospects for 2007. In the current survey, forecasters expect the economy to expand by 2.4 per cent in 2007—the same rate of growth that was anticipated last winter. Respondents predict the economy will rebound and grow by 3 per cent in 2008.
