Survey of Forecasters Summer 2009

Forecasters surveyed by Signal49 Research in June have not changed their views significantly regarding Canada’s economic prospects for 2009 and 2010.In the latest survey, forecasters said they expect the economy to decline by 2.3 per cent in 2009—almost identical to the 2.2 per cent drop in economic activity they anticipated in the early spring.
