Compensation Planning Outlook is an annual survey conducted by Signal49 Research on compensation and human practices in Canada. In June 2013, a questionnaire was sent to 1,693 predominantly large and medium-sized Canadian organizations operating in a variety of regions and sectors. A total of 411 respondents across Canada participated in the survey, including 77 from Quebec. According to the survey, the average pay increase for non-unionized employees in Quebec is forecast to be 2.8 per cent in 2014—just slightly lower than the projected national increase of 2.9 per cent.
